Digital Animation Faculty
Amy Tepperman
Amy Tepperman has been teaching in the digital animation program since 2007 and is currently a working animator in Toronto. In addition to being a professional animator, Amy is a dancer and Groove Dance teacher bringing a different background to the program specializing in movement, rhythm and performance. She also facilitates a groove dance class with her animation students. Since graduating from The International Academy of Design in 2003 she has worked at various animation studios on a number of film and television projects. Recent credits include Fresh TV’s “Stoked and “Total Drama Action” Nickelodeon Jr.’s “The Backyardigans” Jetex Disney’s “Get Ed”, Aardman Anamtion’s “Planet Sketch” and “The Chop Sockey Chooks”, and Amberwood Productions “Rollbots”. She is currently working on “Crash Canyon” a new Teletoon Detour Series set to air next year. Amy is also a member of the “Training Completion Assurance Fund” advisory board in the Private Career College Sector of the Ontario Government since 2008.
Amy much enjoys her time at Centennial College and hopes she is an asset to the students and future animators to come.
Bohdan Ruzycky

Bohdan Ruzycky is an award winning 3D artist and Graphic Designer teaching character modeling, rigging, animation, and environment design in the Digital Animation and Game Design courses at Centennial College. He graduated from York University/Sheridan College in 2003, with honours in Graphic Design. A graduate certificate from Sheridan College in Computer Animation followed soon after.
The past decade has seen Bohdan work as a freelance graphic designer and 3D artist for various local and international studios and clients. In recent years he has worked as a 3D artist for Toronto based biomedical animation studios DHC Marketing and Invivo Communications. His successes as a 3D artist have brought him multiple awards and the opportunity to travel and meet with clients in Japan as well as live and work in Singapore.
Bojan Zoric
With his roots in the traditional fine arts and illustration Bojan Zoric became attracted to the creative challenges presented by matte painting and concept development for film and television. While working in four major Toronto studios over the past eight years on such films as Chicago (2002), Land of the Dead (2005), Outlander (2008), Max Payne (2008), and on numerous commercial and TV shows, Bojan leaned towards environment and creature development,overall look development and eventually art direction. Having joined Intelligent creatures in 2008, Bojan has contributed to such films as Everybody’s Fine (2009), Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) and Battle Los Angeles (2011). As an art director he enjoys the challenge of reconciliation between custom tailored visual development and the collaborative nature of the production pipeline.
Senior Character Animator and Digital Artist at C.O.R.E. Digital, Red Rover, Nelvana and Elliott Animation. Teaches: Intro to Animation, Character Animation, Character Design and Final Project.
Joseph Kim
Joseph brings over 7 years of production experience. His Credits includes, Academy award winning “Ryan”, Everyone’s Hero, Chopsocky chooks, Rollbots, Veggietales movie and as well as other tv series. He experience ranges from being lead modeler, lead rigger and as well as texture artist.
Previous to working in 3D animation, Joseph has extensive training in classical animation, human anatomy and life drawing. He graduated from Sheridan College in 2002 and joined Seneca for Computer animation.

John Lee

John Lee has been working as a 3d animator and motion graphic designer at TELETOON STUDIO for almost two years, and involved in all aspects of producing the computer generated animations from early concept designs to the final outputs. His experiences ranges from creating medical animations for the patient-educational software to supervising the whole production process for the animation shorts and the visual effects shots for a number of independent short films. He holds BAH at Queen’s University and received the Top Honour at International Academy of Design and Technology for 3D Computer Animation and Post Production program.
John loves every aspects of 3D animation and digital painting, making him an avid follower of MAYA and Painter. He can’t get enough of this wonderful world of animation.
Laurence Cymet
Laurence is currently at Autodesk working on the 3D animation software Maya. He brings over 10 years of experience in creating visual effects and animation for film and television, having previously worked at various studios in Toronto including Calibre, Nelvana, Soho VFX and Optix Digital Pictures.
Laurence joined the faculty at Centennial College in 2008 teaching Compositing and Final project work. He has a degree in Art History from University of Toronto and diplomas from Sheridan College in Fine Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects.
Leonardo Silva
Leonardo Silva graduated from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with a Bachelors degree in Media Arts and Animation. He started out modeling and texturing for PS2 games while attending college. Since then he has gone on to work in feature films and commercials and he was nominated for a Gemini award. Leonardo has credits on movies such as Max Payne, Dragonball Evolution, Outlander, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Silent Hill, Stranger than Fiction and Stay. He is currently working at Spin VFX as a Lighting, Modeling and FX artist.
Leonardo is also an instructor at “The Gnomon Workshop” where his Daylight rig for Maya is available.
Matt Lyon
Matthew Lyon has been working in the game and animation industry for nearly 10 years. He has animated in several mediums (2d, 3d flash and stop motion) and has worked as a character and concept designer for many companies (Elliott Animation, Nelvana, Gallus Entertainment, etc). A graduate of Sheridan College’s classical animation program, Matt has gained significant experience working in television production, features and video games. Matt has been teaching at Centennial for over 4 years and is presently employed at Gallus Entertainment as a Supervising animator. Matt’s Blogs: http://maddlyon.blogspot.com/
Philip Krueger
Philip is the program coordinator, and currently teaches in both the Digital Animation and Game Design & Development programs at Centennial College’s Centre for Creative Communications. His passion for excellence and his professional experience led to teaching a wide variety of subjects at Centennial College, Fanshawe College, York University and IADT. He received his Bachelor of Fine Art (Hon.) from NSCAD University and a Master of Design from York University. He is inspired by working in a creative industry that continues to push the boundaries of animation, game, film and electronic media. Philip brings over a decade of experience in creating assets for the digital media content industry from his Toronto-based studio.
Rob Corbett

Rob teaches acting in the animation departments of Centennial, Sheridan and Seneca Colleges. He has worked as an acting coach for Walt Disney Animation Canada and as an apprentice director at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival – as well as numerous other theatres. He is an award winning script writer, and holds a diploma in Music Theatre Performance from Sheridan College, an Honors Degree in Liberal Studies at the University of Waterloo and is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at the University of British Columbia.
Tony Cleave
Since 2004, Tony Cleave has been a founding partner and Creative Director of 4stroke, an award winning design and animation studio, located in Toronto, Canada. Under Tony’s creative leadership, the studio creates innovative design and animation for an array of clients in commercial and broadcast markets. The studio is guided by one principle – to help its clients solve their visual effects and design challenges with creative technical solutions. It features the expertise of a talented, dedicated, creative collective.
Previously, Tony sat on the board of directors of the Broadcast Designers’ Association, in Los Angeles. The BDA is an international association dedicated to design excellence worldwide. Tony has lectured on the creative process at various industry events in Rome, Los Angeles and New York. Tony currently teaches design part time in Centennial College’s Digital Animation Program.
Tony is currently enrolled in OCAD University’s Executive Masters in Design in Advertising program and graduates in the summer of 2011. He also holds an honour’s degree in Art & Art History from the University of Toronto. He also completed a diploma in Fine Art from Sheridan College. Furthermore, Tony completed a post graduate diploma in computer graphics from Sheridan College.
Tony has worked at various networks and studios over the past 15 years as a Designer, Art Director and Creative Director. Most notably, Tony was the Creative Director at Soho, in Toronto. He was instrumental in developing a design and animation department that went on to win over 30 international design and animation awards.



You guys look like an interesting faculty to be around which is what more schools need these days. Anyways, you guys seem fun.
